All bookings must be made in writing, between you as customer and Sailanbike adventure Croatia as tour company as well as at the offices of our partner travel agencies.
Your agreement with us only comes into efect when we have received your signed booking form, fax or email instruction together with your deposit and insurance premium, and we have issued confirmation of your booking. A deposit of 400.00 Euro per person is payable at the time of booking.
When we confirm your booking with us, we will send you an invoice showing the balance of the payment due and the date by which it must be received by us. Final payment must be made 60 days before the start of your adventure holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Where bookings are made less than 60 days before the start of your adventure holiday, full payment must be made when booking.
Sending in a deposit toward your trip and returning you Reservation Form, you certify that you do not have any physical conditions or disabilities that would create a hazard for you or other travelers.
By payment of your booking deposit you agree to the terms and conditions as read.
If you need to cancel your adventure holiday for any reason you can do this at any time but you must inform us in writing. For fixed confirmed reservation for adventure holiday, the date on which the written cancellation is received represents the basis of the calculation of costs as follows:
Passengers arriving late or leaving early receive no refunds. Single supplements are considered as part of the trip price and are no therefore subject to cancellation fees.
We may cancel your adventure tour, including in the following circumstances:
In the latter case we will advise you no later than 14 days prior to departure. If we cancel acting reasonably, we will, if possible, offer an alternative adventure tour. If this is not acceptable to you we will refund all payments made to us in respect of your adventure tour but not any insurance premium as this product is purchased from a third party and operates from the time of purchase. As noted above we recommend that you are insured. You should utilize that insurance cover for any loss you suffer before making or accepting a refund from us.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive cancellation and interruption insurance (including trip delay, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and baggage and personal effects insurance) once a trip has been booked. Baggage delay, health, accident and emergency evacuation insurance are also strongly recommended. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay of damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or service whether resulting from but not limited to acts of god or force majeure, illness, disease, act of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft, ship or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
There are certain inherent risks in travel of this type. These include, but are not limited to risk of biking, horseback riding, hiking swimming, walking, kayaking, surfing, inaccessibility to medical attention and difficulty in evacuation in the case of a medical emergency. Passengers assume all such risks with regard to these possibilities. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntary assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.
There is natural need to be flexible in a tour of this kind. The day to day agenda and ultimate aim of this adventure trip is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. It is fundamental condition of booking that you accept this flexibility, and acknowledge that delays and alternations and their subsequent results, such as inconvenience, discomfort, or disappointment, are possible.
Cycling is a strenuous physical activity and guests must be in reasonably good health to
participate. Bike adventure guests are responsible for choosing a tour appropriate to their own
fitness level. Also cycling takes place on the open road and as such automobile traffic may be a
factor guests must execise all due care when cycling and maintain control of themselves. Safety
is our primary concern – above all else! We believe that safety flags make our guests more
visible to passing motorists, and although not mandatory, we highly recommend and encourage
their use during tour.
All bike adventure guests must wear an approved helmet.
Passport must be valid for six months following date of entry into any international country. It is the sole responsibility of the tour participant to secure a valid passport with sufficient blank pages for immigration and visa stamps.
Special request such as special dietary needs should be advised at time of booking. Please note that every effort will be made to secure your special request, however these requests cannot be guaranteed.
Travelers under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age of sailandbike adventure participants is ten years.
Program prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room, unless stated otherwise. Single room supplements and triple room reductions are listed where applicable.
We reserve the right to take photographs during the operation of any tour or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. Tour members who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves at the beginning of their program.
If the tour does not proceed according to the contract, legal redress can be sought. We can refuse the redress, if an extraordinary effort is required, is however authorized to provide redress in the form of substitute service, whether of equal or higher worth. The customer can refuse such a substitute service only in case of important, objectively recognizable reasons. The redress claim should be directed at us or the travel guide. The travel guide is however not authorized to acknowledge the claim. Any claims that might arise should be asserted ap to 14 days latest after the contractually intended termination on the tour.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we on rare occasions must alter the accommodations or routes from those mentioned in the itinerary. All efforts are made to select an alternative boat or hotel of the same quality and to keep the route changes to a minimum.
During the duration of the trip, you are liable for damage to or loss of bicycles and any equipment entrusted to you. Do not leave your bike unattended even for a few minutes.
We never sell your address or private information. We respect and value your privacy.
The same information shall be used for inter-communication. With the acceptance of these General Terms, the guest gives permission for personal information to be used for our promotional offers.
Putting down a deposit, signifies that the guest fully comprehends and accepts these General Terms. These General Therms and travel regulations override all former terms and travel regulations.
The agreement conditions are subject to Croatian law. In case of a dispute, the competent court will be in Rijeka, Croatia.
